It’s getting increasingly difficult being a bicyclist in Zurich from Switzerland

  1. From Albisriederplatz this evening, poor guy didn’t see the chain strung across the road. The protesters had blocked all directions of traffic.

  2. It’ just plain stupid fixing the banner with a rope or chain that’s close to invisible. But they have insurance for sure, don’t they.

  3. Doesn’t have anything to do with being a bicyclist. Trams, cars, buses and pedestrians are affected as well. How are these people just allowed to put up a road block in the middle of the city? That’s not a protest, that is dangerous interruption of critical infrastructure. Imagine an ambulance having to go through this. Somebody could die.

Fuck these guys, whoever they are I don’t care.

  4. Yea but then again there are some serious bad bicycle riders here. Like oh hold on while I signal left and turn left at the exact same time. I see kids do it, I see adults do it, I saw an old man get mowed over by an SUV a year ago and have overall never seen so many aloof bicycles riders anywhere in my life.

  5. Friendly reminder

An old wise zurcher once asked my class back in school; Whats the most deadly sport in Zürich?

    To bicycle.
