I was wondering about this, surely the ‘funding’ is so that housing can be built/improved, so will this fine not hit the tenants?
If the money was to pay people £170,000 pa to be in charge of just 12,000 homes, which I considered absolutely ridiculous when I heard it, then so-be-it. After this guy on 170K, there will be a finance director etc also on god-knows what, what a complete farce.
