Guards who commit crimes should get double the punishment, maybe not for driving offences.
If you want to be a crook in this country you become a garda, politician, drug dealer or solicitor.
> Both Pluijgers and the tenant at Wood Lane filed cases with the RTB. Both have struggled, they say, in pursuing their cases.
> The RTB won’t hear a case unless it knows the full name and address of the landlord.
> The RTB does not record the number of disputes that do not proceed due to not having those details, says a spokesperson for the RTB.
So basically the RTB is a pile of shite that can’t deal with a landlord giving the wrong name.
Another regulatory agency deliberately designed to fail, in Ireland *shock*

The RTB is not fit for purpose. There is no enforceable law that says a landlord has to register with them.
This lad has been doing the rounds for decades now – Kevin Galvin – he was sacked from the Garda IT department and was up before about his flat-rentings. I seen one of his places and it’s an unbelievable kip – really utterly disgustingly bad.
>A former garda has lost his High Court bid to overturn his Government-sanctioned dismissal from the force.
> Kevin Galvin (37) was dismissed from the Garda, with which he had 13 years’ service, after an investigation into 19 complaints against him, including Garda disciplinary breaches and being subject to District Court prosecutions for breaches of fire safety, planning and littering regulations related to three properties he owned.
> A father of two of Furry Park Road, Killester, Dublin, he claimed the decision was unfair, unlawful and breached his rights under the Constitution and European Convention on Human Rights.
> In dismissing the case yesterday, Mr Justice John Hedigan said there were ample grounds to conclude Mr Galvin, who has 10 District Court convictions, was not an appropriate person to serve in An Garda Síochána.
Moment i saw the article, i was like its gonna be kevin. Its gonna be Kevin.. lol ans behold it is.

Saw three of his gaffs.
1) what looked like an abandoned building on the luas tracks. Came full of a furry fluffy futon and a mysteriously large amount of sexy womens underwear and a jacks with a packed earth floor Just want my folks needed to see as they were with me. Definitely, Definitely not where a night worker operated
2) obligatory toilet inside the shower moment. Futons all over. Partially constructed fitted units.
3) same place, ground floor. tenant still in the room and very angry about something. Seemed ok but I’d imagine you take that lads stuff out and the issues would be clear.
