Love this stuff. I have a deep love of Portugal, initially went to go surfing and was back 4 times in 3 years. Favourite country in Europe (that’s not Ireland…..obviously) and the food is just amazing. Anyone thinking they want an amazing holiday and do not want to visit a council estate in the sun, go north of Lisbon.
Peniche’s my favourite, but i’m a surfer….so
Pictures of portuguese soldiers in Angola always have a different atmosphere to those of brits and frenchs in Africa,they look like they belong there.Not trying to paint colonialism in a good light,just something that I always think.
The picture of a car in the Algarve is also really good,and it is interesting how Portugal,an atlantic country looks so similar to other mediterranean countries,with the white houses and the olives..
