“Scammers to text 7M people pretending to be police”
So victims of bank fraud, who probably got a dodgy text message, to get a text from the Police asking them to make contact?
Is it April 1st?
Who thought that was a good idea?
I just got one of these texts! Incredible how efficient they are in getting that rebate to me. Shame about the £300 of iTunes gift cards I need to send them as a facilitation payment, but I guess they have their overheads!
