Cost of living: Men’s group speaks out on impact of soaring prices

  1. It’s a sad state of affairs when a fulltime job wont even pay for private rental accomidation in some parts.

Considering that, it’s no surprise mens (and womens) mental health is taking an absolute nosedive.

  2. Funny this, my work today was telling me it’s actually women as a gender who are really more affected by the cost of living crisis because traditionally they’re supposedly the ones less likely to be out pushing for money. I bit my tongue and refrained from saying by that logic it’ll be the men facing most pressure, as then they’re the ones expected to have the money, and will feel worse for not.

It’s almost like we’re all just people struggling in a difficult world, and not everything needs tribalising and intersectionalising and gendering. No point excluding people.
