Google Street View (2011 vs 2021), Łódź, Poland. It’s hard to express the sheer amount of changes the city is going through. Considered the ugliest Polish city, though with a great industrial history. The industry went to ashes after the war and only now has the city started to reinvent itself.

  1. I am curious about turning asphalt streets into stone pavement. Is it something common across Poland? I saw it in Katowice and it was really nice and pleasing to look at and walk on.

  2. The old station looked better though in my opinion (even if neglected). It saddens me to see historic buildings destroyed 🙁
