Under this new legislation the construction of social housing could be expedited by not having it require an environmental impact assessment… maybe the Green Party doesn’t do environmental stuff anymore (!) but surely this has gotta be a major problem for them.

Yeah cause capping rent rates isn’t gonna help not would making mortgauges easier to acquire, you know what would a bit of biological destruction
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
We are only now starting to see the scale of how badly built everything from the Tiger years was, and that will be nothing in comparison to the scale of disaster this will herald.
So they can sell more houses to private renting corporations and not actually solve anything.
