Honestly, its a bit of an emotional blindspot for me. I want terrible things to happen to people who abuse dogs.
A kid shot my cat once and the police weren’t interested at all. They tried to say the shot must have ricocheted despite my statement which made the angle of entry impossible. And they said it as if the little shit shooting into my garden was fine. He was under 14 with no adult present. Cat was lucky. That family were shits and we moved as soon after that as we could.
