I thought it was going to be yet another patronising article about how to deal with the CoL crisis, but the Repair Café sounds like a great initiative. The amount of stuff that gets thrown away when it could be easily fixed is shameful (I’ve been guilty of it myself. Sometimes you know it could be repaired but you just don’t know how nor know anyone who could fix it for you).
