Today the highest support and most positive views are overwhelmingly by people that are too young to have been alive during the troubles.
It seems that these events are only positively romanticised by people who didn’t experience them.
Not surprising. Especially when people still had the same mentality towards Martin McGuinness when he ran for President back in 2011. And to this day most of us in the Republic are clueless about what actually went on.
Surprised 34% oppose their motives, but there should be more opposition for their activities
I’d be interested to hear the equivalent responses too from around 1990/1993. People had seriously soured by that point.
