  1. Good, everyone should mock it.

Real protest would be not partaking in WC or at least doing something risky and punishable by the homophobic laws you wish to protest.

Doing something completely harmless to you, but still partaking in an event built on the bones of dead slave workers and hate laws is hipocricy.

It’s like having dinner with Hitler and Stalin, but making a moustache gesture when they’re not looking.

  2. Qataris are just pissed they were not able to buy loyality from major european teams. Could be anyone, just the german team played worse and got some bad luck.

Basically Quatar invested a few hundred billions into that event and received a media-shitstorm they were able to control or buy.

  3. I would mock Germany too. Former Prime Minister working for Putin and the country bankrolled Putin’s regime for years signing deal after deal….yet they want to virtue signal about Qatar

  4. I am laughing, too.

Soccer is soccer and politics is politics.

If u can chase down a ball doesn’t mean u are smart on other things..

Klop once asked about corona politics said, guys i am a soccer trainer with a baseball cap, why u think I should be asked about politics?

In short if government thinks there is an issue in Qatar – don’t go there.

But u don’t go in another ones house and say ..i don’t like your rules but i would like join the house party
