Second World War veteran – Tadeusz Cisek, passed away today (aged 99), in the U.S.A. He was paratrooper of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade (1. Samodzielna Brygada Spadochronowa (Polish), and took part in Operation Market Garden (September 17th – 25th, 1944). [1080 x 1620]

Once these people are gone we realize we are losing part of history which we could talk to. We can touch old medals, guns and pictures, but a living person carries something which can’t be copied.
