Richie Bree – Irish Rapid Transport from ireland

  1. I’m just back from London, I’ve been there a few times over the years, and the underground never ceases to amaze me. You could quite easily cross the city in 10 or 15 minutes, I swear it’s a gift, if I lived there I wouldn’t even have a car. How come Dublin doesn’t have one? Why can’t they just put money aside for it or take out a loan? The fucking thing is guaranteed to pay for itself in 10 years or so, just do it. But nah, diddling, indecision, lack of leadership, no vision for the future…. Same old fucking Ireland.

  2. You can get an air coach from somewhere outside the airport, I presume. Or you can get the 747 bus. Both are more expensive than the 16 though. More direct, therefore you’d expect they would be faster, but they’re also more expensive.

  3. Wouldn’t it be funny if we developed a metro system all over ireland and called it Rapid Area Transport.

  4. Unfortunately back in 20-30s was time to do it but country didn’t have a Rex to spend it on. Hence why they head church look after schools and hospitals at start. Brits and famine wasn’t a great start for us.
