State has ‘danced around’ bugging jurisdiction issue, Hutch lawyer tells court

  1. I’m curious, why would evidence collected outside the state no be allowed in this situation but it is allowed is other situations?

  2. Not surprised hutch is fighting tooth and nail to get these tapes thrown out.

Ignoring everything else that said in them, the knowledge of the “three yokes”, that weren’t discovered until a few days after the tapes, is great evidence for the prosecution.

  3. Have to say I agree with the prosecution pretty conclusively here. If everything related to the bugging was performed in the state there cannot be a potential issue.

It does mean hutch is sweating this though. I expect the courts to rule it as admissible myself
