  1. What’s the point of posting this, OP? Ireland has a very low tax rate, it’s very common for companies to have a head office in Ireland in order to aggressively ~~avoid paying much in taxes~~ tax plan. It’s well known that Ireland is a low tax jurisdiction after all.

I don’t think the general public knows this, but Airbnb has been drifting away from property for some time and a large chunk of their staff work on a new form of animation, first developed by Airbnb engineers, which is rapidly becoming the standard for web and mobile. In a similar way McDonald’s is synonymous with fast food whereas in reality the bulk of their profits come from real estate.

    I wonder how successfully Airbnb has been able to monetise their animation formats and what chunk of their overall revenue can be attributed to it
