As promised the follow up of the new and fully stocked polish section in my (far western) German Supermarket. What do you guys recommend?

  1. Some of you may remember [my previous post](https://www.reddit.com/r/poland/comments/ysfft2/thought_you_might_enjoy_the_polish_section_in_my/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) from about a month ago. I’ll leave it here for comparison.

    Back then, the supermarket was about to close for renovations and didn’t restock their supplies anymore. But yesterday, they re-opened and while it took me some time to find the polish section (I was already afraid they removed it), I was glad to see that it got even bigger than before. This time in full stock.

  2. * Tymbark Jabłko Mięta
    * One of żołądkowa gorzka to try
    * Spirytus to make homemade infused liqours
    * Łowicz dense syrup to add to your tea or beer
    * Classic vifon instant ramen
    * Mieszanka Wawelska, top left – but Mieszanka Wedlowska is simply better
    * Ptasie Mleczko
    * Prince Polo bar
    * Jeżyki cookies

  3. Jeżyki (cookies) and Ruda (vodka, the one with orange etiquette).

  4. No kurwa, Winiary is there but not Kielecki. Germans truly have no fucking taste

  5. Chałwa, Mieszanka Krakowska and Żołądkowa Gorzka, the orange or green one

  6. Upper left corner, especially Jezyki and Michalki. And then some pickles (ogórki kiszone).

    …well, maybe not like immediately after the sweets.

  7. Jeżyki are always awesome, also the Tymbark cherry apple drink is my childhood fav. You may like Winiary Mayo, it’s on the creamier side than Kielecki, which is a but more vinegarish. I personally prefer winiary (preparing to get dissed lol)

  8. There’s this sweet that super extraordinary.
    ‘Kukułka’ 4th item from left 2nd to top shelf.
    It’s different from everything else 😉

  9. Ja pierdole, like walking into Lewiatan around the corner here! 🙂

  10. I would go with top left (malaga, trufle, michalki kukulki) because it’s different than standard german sweets. I love malaga and trufle but my husband hates them, so it’s not a safe bet 😉 everyone likes jeżyki and they are absurdly delicious, but they do not taste particularly unique.

  11. Oh gawd, I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve drinked Żołądkowa Gorzka. Never liked the mint green one, but the orange one (we call it “ruda” – ginger) with cola and a lemon – BANG!
    I call her “cheap Jägermeister” xD

    Jeżyki! All flavors.

  12. Waaay overpiced, you’d find better deals with German products. But if you want to try:

    * Śliwka w czekoladzie (plums in chocolate)
    * Chałwa
    * Jeżyki (only classic)
    * Winiary Mayo

    And that’s it. Don’t buy beer, have a Jever instead

  13. Nie ma nic lepszego niż polskie zupki chińskie xd

    There is nothing better than polish chinese soup xd

    But only a pole can call ramen “chinesse soup”

  14. That spicy ketchup under the ham is yummy. Been buying that in US since I moved back here

  15. “Stumbras” vodka is from Lithuania! It’s nothing special tho

  16. Ptasie mleczko (red box, 3.99) is a classic.

    You can also try chocolate-coated prunes as well (Śliwka w czekoladzie) – violet package on the right, 3.69. think’t that’s something typically Polish, although not as cliche as vodka, pierogi or Ptasie mleczko for this instance.

  17. Paprykarz szczeciński, fish and rice in tomato sauce. Delicious.

  18. That’s just a bunch of mass produced crap ngl xd The ketchup and mustard and bussin tho

  19. Let me guess, Edeka? I went into a newly reopened one yesterday and saw the same polish section. Looks like I’ll take on some recommendations here as well.

  20. Ooh, I spot some cyrillic in there at the bottom

  21. Żołądkowa Gorzka. If people say I’m wrong, then I don’t want to be right.
