Retired nurse: used to be, if you were on a ventilator, you were in ICU, CCU, or maybe a step down unit. No roommate. 1 to 1 or maybe1 to 2 patients per nurse. The changes made by hospital administrators are unfair and dangerous. I guarantee the roommate couldn’t sleep in a room where a ventilator is cycling. They are noisy, sometimes deliberately so. Staff needs to hear the ventilator.
Of course, none of that justifies murder.
Someone snoring could drive you crazy if you’re trying to sleep but it never crossed my mind to murder them.
