Does anyone know what this is?

  1. Discovered some mould in our conservatory and this odd looking thing on the corner of the wall. I thought it might have been some fungus but it was brittle and broke apart as soon as I wiped it up.

I’ve bleached down the whole wall with anti-mould remover but a little confused as to what that was!

  2. It’s a false widow spider nest.
It usually leaves it when all its offspring are hatched.
I suggest you be burn the house down immediately.

    (Kidding!)

  3. It’s dried fungus, get a dehumidifier and clean the wall with mould and mildew remover every few days. Paint with mould resistant paint.

  4. Fungus, the astonish mould remover from dealz is quite good if you need to buy more but ultimately get to the root problem usually ventilation issues

  5. I lived in a house for a few months full of this… you have a leak somewhere, it’s damp mould and fungus.. Wiping it away with a cleaner is not the solution it will come back…dehumidifier and find the source of the damp… from that photo that whole wall has mould on it…and has had it for awhile to get to that stage
