Has IKEA stopped selling in Russia and started selling the Russian stuff to us in 🇧🇪?
Some effort wouldn’t harm you, IKEA 🤷‍♂️

  1. I think a lot of EU companies had their products blocked to ship to RU.
So, instead of trashing them, they put a new label on there and shipped inside EU. Nothing suspicious here.

  2. Yeah, they should’ve just thrown away the whole thing or removed all the labels and printed entirely new labels. That would’ve been way more efficient and cost-effective than relabeling the only relevant part. /s

  3. Edit: I know it’s better than dumping it of course, but they could have removed the russian sticker 😉

  4. Depends where this item was produced. If it was produced in Russia (lots of IKEA items are not produced in Sweden), then that’s an issue. If it was produced outside of Russia for the Russian market and then re-routed to Belgium with a new label, then it’s not an issue.

  5. Ikea withdrew from Russia and this product was certainly meant to go there but was relabeled and went to Belgium instead. No biggie.

  6. Lol, you have no Idea how much of what we buy comes from a totally different location as we think. “Olio di olive, extra vergine” *scan and google barcode* ah Poland.
