Is anyone with Go Mo in Ireland and able to receive texts outside the EU? I can’t see confirmation of this on their site. I’m thinking of switching to them, but I need to be able to receive texts anywhere in the world for things like TFA texts from my bank, Apps etc

1. I had trouble getting texts when i was i mexico, regular texts worked fine but for some reason sometimes 2fa texts wouldnt make it.

3. If your going travelling just get a unlocked phone and a local pay as you go sim card and dump it when you leave.

   Plus don’t mind the people saying GOMO is crap it’s not im with them since the beginning and have had absolutely no issues with them.

   4G in most places and 3g otherwise.
   They are eir so customer care is lacking

4. Don’t fucking do it. No customer care. If something goes wrong(and it will) you are fucked indefinitely

5. I moved over from the Cayman Islands and receive 2FA texts from them… GOMO is great, I hotspot everything in my house (sometimes using 200+ GB a month) with it and only pay a tenner a month

6. Gomo does not work RELIABLY abroad. They’re a scourge

7. Make sure the data roaming setting is switched on and your grand

8. I’m in America with go mo sim and I’ve had no issues receiving messages for apps

9. I’ve had it since it launched, no major issues travelling 8+ countries in Europe apart from Denmark it wasn’t working
