Up front costs might be a bit pricey, but constantly buying store bought eggs is not cheap either.
Rationing eggs because they don’t pay enough to ensure a decent supply.

Well great way for some people to get to know where their nearest farm is to purchase eggs directly.
Just wait until next year, the situation will be much worse. Chicken farmers have ordered 8 million fewer pullets for next year compared to this year so that will be 8 million fewer eggs produced per day in the UK
So wait the farmers have affectively put chickens on strike over pay?
