Nice headline, this applies to all drugs. Cannabis is not special.
No politician wants an injection facility in their constituency though (mobile or permanent) ‘cos the oul wans will vote you out at the next election.
I was arrested at a Primal Scream gig in Dun Laoghaire for possession. It wasn’t a lot. About a quarter of a bag of coke. They never found the junk because I’d already hoofed that up. I was jumping through hoops for almost two years in the courts. I’m not complaining, I deserved what I got. But the piss testing in Tallaght (I’m from Wicklow) got old very quickly. It didn’t keep me clean though, just gave me a very childish grudge against the guard who caught me out. The entire time I was treated like a criminal (which I was, in fairness) but never once was I offered help. They took the scared-straight route.
