Maybe educate yourself about why it’s not part of Belgium. Aside from the name it hasn’t been a part of Flanders for 500 years.
Can we not start doing this, please? I like taking the kids to the coast without having to stare at an endless line of butt-ugly apartment buildings all day. Dutch Zeelandic coast >>>>>> Belgian coast, so let them keep it.
Was wondering why my hometown was dutch but it’s actually the territory of ‘de vier ambachten’ vs ‘burgraafschap van Gent’. I guess that’s a less exciting title though haha
