We’re 1st or 2nd on obesity levels now that the uk has left the EU. I find it hard to believe that we’re beating countries with a “Mediterranean Diet” like Italy or Spain. Actually just realised This is life expectancy at birth which is different then life expectancy of the entire population. We’re high on this because we have the second youngest population in Europe. I.e. we have more babies as a percentage of the population than other countries. With medical advancements of last 50 years babies from any country in EU are gonna live to a older age than someone in their 40’s today. Should look at life expectancy Not life expectancy at Birth. Will tell you a lot more about the actual health of the country. Spain, Italy and Greece are at the top of that because of life style and diet.
Wales isn’t on the list does that mean I’m going to live forever? Or just die trying?
