if its any help, its the exact same fitting for 3 different sets of Aldi christmas lights i have, i dont think they do replacements but if you have the receipt they will exchange it
Is that meant to be a plug for the mains?
Cant you strip it it back and put a normal plug on it?
Nope, it’s a plug for either a battery pack or mains ADAPTOR. Do not connect it to 240v. There should be the other bit in the box.
you’ll probably have to go to lidl or aldi & steal one from a fresh box of lights or fake xmass tree. or i’ll sell you one of my two for €100
Warm white is a lovely colour on the tree.
Just in case it’s not obvious, do not connect that to the mains. They’re low voltage DC lights.
31V Transformer Plug for Christmas Lights, BOLWEO LED Transformer Power Supply Adapter with 8 Modes,Timer,Memory,IP44 for Christmas Tree Lights,Net Lights,Icicle Lights https://amzn.eu/d/14PJ2kb
You are missing a plug it screws into. We bought a set light that this year, it lasted a day working and stopped completely. Same design, flimsy plug design .
Home base. My mom had me go buy one last year for 3 quid?
Go back to Aldi/Lidl and exchange for one that has the thing. They fall out or are stolen all the time.
Have the exact same ones here in Edmonton.
It should mention on the box the type of socket and it’s rating. If it’s transformer or starter adaptor socket it should also mention the rating. If you can upload the picture of the technical section it would help.
I actually have an adaptor that I just put in the bin off a set of lights that were damaged but the plug/transformer is fine. Its all yours if I can get it to you
Make two Tinfoil “wires” into the mains and onto the prongs. Easy.
