ištrintas to durnelio accountas? 😀 Botas buvo? ar pats išsitrynė?
I’m pretty sure they didn’t “decide” to, and that its just part of the 9th EU sanctions package, which was announced yesterday, and which we’re *quite* happy to uphold.
That’s false. Lithuania didn’t revoke anything because never granted a license. Lithuania just reiterated that since the Latvian EU-wide license is invalid, Lithuanian TV operators cannot broadcast it anymore
Can some one give me some info, sources, argument to why tv rain would be imperialist? I am trying to get an unbiased view on this to make my judgement.
So far as i understand it, they were kicked out over several violation of the rules in 4 months that they were broadcasting. Not that they are imperialist or pro imperialist or pro putin or pro war. It was stated, that the tv rain didn’t seem to understand the severity of the violations and kept doing them.
Violations were, using map of Crimea belonging to Russia, calling Russian army our boys when now being a Latvian channel, and then lastly was seemingly one of their hosts talking about supporting Russian soldiers out of pity.
I can understand that the first two sound very harsh punishments. One can accept that they just used old map that they had without checking as it is illegal otherwise in Russia, them having forgotten to change that for Latvian tv. And one can accept that they called Russian army being their army when talking about atrocities they committed as they are indeed Russian citizens, despite now broadcasting to Latvian audience. I can understand both as them still acclimatising to being exiled and the last one as them still mostly targeting Russian audience as YouTube is their main vector for broadcasting.
How ever the defence for the last violation i have hard time agreeing with, man literally went on a long segment talking about the kinda of support they collect money for to send to mobilised Russians.
I understand that they are anti putin and anti war, but i want to actually have some more argument to think that they are still imperialist. Namely i would like to know their stance on Crimean annexation and if they actually sent help to Russian soldiers.
Give the licence to a subject that is fun, maybe comedy or sports.
Or combine the two, a 24 hour Takeshi castle channel.
Oh wow , 90% of people upvoting doesnt even know what Dozhd is , second, what is that going to do ? A bunch of empty moves by petty little puppet countries … Give them an oscar to hold , bring Shaun Penn …
