I always thought the Uighers were sound, the most Irish of the Chinese peoples. Up for a bit of crack, can’t understand what the jackbooted (China Brits) want with them at all.
They’re an obscure group with a strange name. Most Westerners have never heard of them, have no idea where they are other than “somewhere in China” and know nothing about them. Western indifference to their situation isn’t admirable, but also isn’t surprising.
