You can take the tests in english ??
Ok, I’ll try it. My only knowledge of this is through GTA:
1, 3, 3, 3, 1, 2 (Wtf. Shouldn’t animals have always the right of way? I mean, they are animals. What are they gonna do, wait for your car to pass?), 2, 3, 3.
What’s my score?
You got me with the points question because I got my license before it lol.
Just do tests until you know them by memory. You wont need 95% of this shit when driving normally, since it quite literally makes you a rolling obstacle 😂
I’m Spanish and failed it twice
Do you seriously think that animals in the road is a situation unique and exclusive to Spain? That there are no big mammals in other countries that could block the roads? ……… assumptions like that one are quite ignorant ngl , you also though we rode donkeys and horses instead of cars before coming here no? Classic guiri
The funny part is that it depends of the city. We have a very funny concept called “ordenanza municipal”, which is a kind of law that only applies in a particular city or village. In my city this is totally forbidden, and the “urbanos” love to wait to catch any stranger who does it.
So you think the spanish exam is hard? I preferred to give it in Spain ,in spanish, being romanian….That’s because in Romania there are 4 possible answers from what can be correct 1,2,3,all the 4 of the variants or none of them,so if you mark 2 of them, for example and there are 3 correct,is a fail, good luck there….
Heh, I remember answering this same questions a couple of years ago when I got my driving license
Don’t have a clue which option is right lol
It’s been almost a decade since I took my test and the rules have changed in some ways since then, so I will probably fail many of them. Here’s what I would answer if taking the test right now:
* **Is double parking prohibited?** (1) Yes, always.
* **Double parking can be an obstacle to traffic flow when…** (1) The gap between the car and the opposite kerb of the road is under 3’5 metres.
* **You can stop in double row…** (1) For less than two minutes.
* **What does this sign mean?** (1) Danger, accident blocking the road ahead.
* **This signal warns of the proximity of a danger because of…** (2) Obstruction of the road.
* **Do animals have the right of way here?** (2) Yes because the vehicle is changing direction.
* **Roundabouts should be travelled…** (1) Leaving the left side at the centre.
* **Is a valid driving licence subject to not having lost the total amount of points assigned to its driver?** (3) Yes.
* **How should you show clearly that you want to slow down speed considerably?** (3) With the repeated use of the braking lights or moving the arm up and down.
Also, I hadn’t taken an *anything* test since forever, forgot about the existential anxiety when several of my answers in a row were the same option number…
Double line is allowed only to let passengers up or down the car.
The car upside down means there is obstruction in the road, used to signal “accident ahead”.
Roundabouts: to the right side unless you are British. The center of the roundabout is at your left.
Animals have no priority, unless there is a sign to give them so, like cañada, via pecuaria or such. The danger signs does not give priority but i would not argument with a deer.
Looking closer, they look like cows, which might be a herd with a shepherd, so if I recall correctly, must follow the same rules as pedestrians. But not quite sure.
Licence, if lost all the points, validity is voided, iirc.
Editing with more answers.
How is that hard? You don’t belong to our roads if you don’t get those Q&A. Also English shouldn’t be an option as you are not qualified to drive around if you can’t understand signs.
> “Is a valid driving licence subject to not having lost…”
That’s not proper English is it? I’ve no clue what the actual question is.
Edit: never mind I think what they’re asking is: “if you lose all your points, is your licence rendered null and void?”
That’s not proper English, is it? Either that or my English level had become lower suddenly…..

I did mine yesterday, currently waiting for the result but i am really optimistic
It’s frustrating even in spanish, it’s like they take easy questions and answers and word them in the dumbest yet (usually) technically correct way possible to make you second guess yourself until you know them all by memory.
The English translation is incomprehensible. You’re better off doing it in Spanish
It’s notoriously difficult! I always recommend anyone who even has a rudimentary grasp of Spanish they should do it in Spanish. I personally filled out my missing vocabulary as I studied, and tell people to do the same.
Shame this test doesn’t translate into Spain having good drivers then!!
Spain is atrocious for bad driving, I know of no Spanish person who would not park where it says not to park.
In fact if it says don’t park, all the more reason for the Spanish to park there.
This has to be a joke
i did it in english and passed it with full marks on my first attempt. Yeah there are some trick questions here and there but as long as you do a shit ton of the practice tests you’ll be ok. I did around 60 if I remember correctly. I’d much rather do this one again the stupid hazard one in the UK, those suck balls
Edit: also I have to say that I’m happy this is so hard, Spain has one of the lowest death rates from car related crashes in the world and eu, hell we are actually equal with germany in terms of per population and better per 100,000 cars. People can be a bit frisky at times when driving and obviously things can always improve, but having lived in other places where its magnitudes worse I’m happy with what we get
Did mine in English as well. Did the theory practice at the driving school for 9 months hardly ever getting all of them right on the practice examS. Finally said F it and went to take the test, passed first time, same with the actual driving test. Plus I have driven accident free for over 40 years. It was quite the ordeal.
It’s difficult because it’s all a big mafia.
The guy of the practice has 100% power over you passing or not. You know, it’s the same reason why washing machine last a few years. The business needs to keep running.
Most of people i know got systematically reproved, for minor/slight mistakes.
Show must go on.
Someone has to pay the minicoopers
>double parking is prohibited
Yet it is a staple of Spanish culture where I drive and makes me want to rent a tank to run all of these annoying obstacles over.
Had to do the shitty english test 4 times. It felt great eventually getting it, though.
It sucks, the way to pass (not learn) is to take as many tests as you can and memorize and learn the tricky questions. I read the manual once to learn the really useful stuff (not interested in how many kg a truck can weigh between March and June) and then just solve a lot of tests
I failed it once, and i noticed that 25 out of 30 questions are easy, but they sneak in 5 very difficult ones that really test your knowledge about the rules. I almost failed the 2nd times as well but fortunately i passed with 3 mistakes lol.
Bare in mind that i’m not spanish, so for me it was even harder understanding some of the questions.
The practice exam tho i found it easy. They are a lot less picky than in the uk, at least compared to mock tests
Most EU countries are strongly trying to make it as hard as possible to drive a car. This is one mechanism.
Wow didn’t know you could take it in English. What app is this?
I brought my license from the UK so I didn’t have to do this, but I have helped friends and it is very hard, some things that are true in the UK, are not true here and vice versa

How did i do?
I didn’t find the exam as difficult as people make it out to be. Depending on the exam center the exam is either on the computer or paper. I booked the theory exam on my own and only used the driving school (as required) for the practical exam. The theory exam was on the computer at the center I did it at and the English translations were very good. I passed both the theory exam and practical exam on the first try.
i did two books of tests in two weeks (2.5h a day, 7 days a week) and got it first try. I would try to guess or use common sense (and fail miserably) do not look the right awnser but look in the rules what it was, and you never forget after that.
You dont need to learn the “codigo de circulación” you just need to learn the exam. (Like most exams unfortunately)
If you already have a drivers license from the USA do you still have to take the written and driving tests?
1,2,1,1,2,2,1,3,3
Some of the answers are exactly the same just a different orientation of the wording, either failure of translation or the test is rather more word play than common sense.
