Pournara had worse living conditions than a slum. I don’t blame them for not wanting to go back. They are stuck in that shithole waiting to get their papers processed and suffering, till they give up. Yeah if you are broke and filthy and starving, you will do things that are frowned upon, like steal food and shower behind a supermarket using a hose. They are not proud of that, it’s the only thing they can do.
