  1. Starmer’s opinions on Boris are invalid after he didn’t vote this morning.

People are downvoting, but sorry, Starmer had a chance to vote against Boris in the motion of censure today and didn’t.

  2. Yup, just like how “We’re going to recruit X many new nurses” always turns out to include “Well 3/4 of that will be acheived by making sure old nurses don’t quit, and we’re goin got could them as new nurses” – they then proceed to shit all over the NHS and watch as staff leave in droves. Freeing them up to say “We’re going to recruit 2X new nurses” next time.

  3. This government is totally rotten and the worst thing is that so many scandals overlap with each other that most people seem to have just accepted the corruption with resignation …

  4. The Conservatives’ promise of 40 new hospitals was exposed before the 2019 election as not being 40 new hospitals. It was always half-tuths and lies. Starmer’s accusation is of something many long knew, but it is good he has made it. People need to be reminded of and think about the old lies not just the ones currently in the news. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/50579557

  5. All part of the same old Tory narrative; treat the electorate as if they’re stupid.

They would be if they believe funding will actually be authorised to commence all 40.

  6. Much like the £96Bn for new railway. Besides the bit for HS2 phase 1 already spent and being spent the rest is ‘subject’ to further development studies joining the £9Bn list of other prospective schemes published two years ago, which remains just that – a two year old list, individually none of the schemes listed has committed funding. It’s £96Bn of dreams.
