Cheers! What other productions (apart from that high profile one) do you like?
Thanks I worked hard on this one.
When these two bois get together, something.
If you haven’t already seen these OP you should check out Adam & Paul and Garage. Both cracking films.
Probably not gonna get a chance to see this one in the cinema but am definitely gonna check it out when it comes to Disney+.
Available on Disney + US on 14th Dec.
Thats got nothing on Fatal Deviation.
Waking Ned is one of my fave films ever. I told everyone I know to check it out, but don’t know anyone who isn’t Irish that actually liked it.
If you don’t stop posting on this sub and if you don’t stop bothering me, I have a set of shears at home and each time you bother me from this day on, I’ll take those shears and I’ll take one of my fingers off with them and then post that finger on this sub until I have no fingers left. Does this make things clearer to ya?
I was always disappointed to learn Martin McDonagh doesn’t actually really want to be associated with Irish Cinema as he deems it not that good. He’s makes the best Irish films though — so take what you want from that.
Haven’t seen this but have been looking forward to it.
Apparently it will be on Disney plus on the 21st
I’m irish. But wanted to tear my skin off while watching this. Beautifully shot though! I will say that.
I was genuinely quite Surprised to find out the Mcdonagh brothers are English, dual citizens, Irish parents but born and raised in London. Particularly Martin with the subject matter of his plays being almost exclusively about the west of Ireland

On a similar note you certainly see the playright background in this film. It feels like a loose adaption of the playboy of the western world(not so much on the plot but the setting)
One thing I would like to see is more town/city films set in Ireland. West coast/island stuff is good an all but I think there is sometimes too much emphasis on that part of the country (especially by non-Irish directors). Nothing wrong with it if done well though
Can’t wait to see this!
Brilliant movie. Only thing I hated about it was Barry Keoghan’s acting.
