German politicians are just as word twisting shitheads as every other politician on the planet. So basically no one knows but them selves
There’s a saying in German politics that foreign policy is made in the Chancellery, not in the foreign ministry.
I truly believe that both the Greens and Baerbock herself want to revise the relationship with China, the real question, though, is if she will be able to stand up to opposition from Scholz himself, who very much wants to continue Merkels foreign policy.
Don’t worry. She’s all talk an no action 🙂
german foreign policy is in the end rather decided by then chancellor. Whatever Baerbock wants, until Scholz at least partially agrees, there wont be any change.
