Since when is *at most* matching CPI for the last 12 months a “strong” hike?
Out of curiosity how did you find that article? Story is barely 3 hours old but I already can’t see it with a few seconds scrolling on the Indos mobile site! I’ve always found the more grim stories of inflation, cost of living, housing crises are pushed to the top whereas the positive ones like this are harder to find.

I’m asking for 15% payrise next year due to inflation and more reponsibility/work taken on.

I’m trying to reconcile how they are so sought after at a time when the business seems to be struggling.
