1. Why would they go out of their way to study Ukrainian? I don’t see people learning languages from any other warzone countries. I guess so they can pat themselves on the back and don’t feel like a shitty human being.

2. That’ll be all the Russian lads in Ukraine who got the golden ticket to Ireland the morning the tanks rolled in

3. Percentage increase is useless unless they also say what base it was off. I’d imagine the number here learning Ukrainian prior to the war was tiny

4. Does no one understand that the manority of Ukrainians spoke Russian before the invasion therefore the Ukrainian refugees are now learning their native language in order to move away from Russian entirely.
