Lidl or Aldi usually have them at this time of year. Being German and that.
Looking to find Lebkuchen somewhere in Ireland, or cheap enough to get posted here. They used to be sold in Dunnes, Supervalu, and Tesco but according to their live chat people they dont sell them anymore! *Looking for this brand in particular! (Schär)*
Lidl has milk and dark chocolate varieties. Very tasty they are too!
You could bake them yourself, if you find the oblaten for the base.
Lidl carry a half decent one.
But I just make my own.
I guess I could bring some back from Germany, I’m going on Saturday. But not back until January.
If you specifically need gluten-free, they have these Schär ones in the Tesco in Ballybrack. I assume any other large Tesco will have them.
Dunnes, Tesco, Bigger Supervalus
Lidl has Lebkuchen hearts in their Christmas stock. They’re filled with apricot jam and I am banned from buying them because I’ve eaten so many of them.
They used to do plain ones, just covered in chocolate, which were absolutely delicious. Don’t seem to have them this year, sadly. I’m gonna try making them .
For that brand Tesco or bigger Supervalus.
Saw them in Newbridge Tesco earlier beside the bakery.
Lidl/ Aldi have them around this time of year.
I know this will sound odd but in the US I have always found them at World Market – don’t know if you have those there. Ours is about 1/2 international foods and beers/wines, 1/2 furniture and tchotchkes.
LIDL and Aldi
They are usually in the gluten free/ health food section of Dunnes. I also see them in Aldi at this time of year.
Dunnes sells them
Fairly sure I’ve seen the gluten-free ones in either Dunnes or Supervalu, sorry I can’t be more specific (it was probably Dunnes).
Valeo supply them. Same guys that do chef.
I live in Germany and I have Coeliac. These are my favourite brand of Lebkuchen. If you want I can grab a couple of packs in a shop in the next few days (if they have any left, they fly off the shelves) and post them over to you.

I’ve seen them in Aldi, if you’re nearby.
Tesco has them for a [fiver.](https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/en-IE/products/309753091) You’ll have to login to check if your store has them.
