Just boycott Ryanair, share this story and don’t go back until they put those punks on a no fly list.
I fly nearly weekly and that behaviour is completely unacceptable on any airline.
As far as I’m concerned all flights should be made alcohol free, none brought on or served!
The police in the UK actually take this stuff really seriously. It can be a little complicated whose jurisdiction this is though. It’s an Irish plane flying from the UK to a Spanish destination….
It’s absolutely illegal to be drunk on a flight, let alone partake in any behaviour that distracts the pilot or endangers the aircraft. A lot of people get serious jail time for this sort of thing, even if it’s a first time offence.
Looks like a load of people just excited to be going to Ibiza to me
Yes it’s obnoxious and rude as hell to fellow passengers but I’d probably expect it if I was to go to Ibiza on a £30 Ryanair flight (or at all)
I’ve seen similar behaviour from groups in airport terminals also going to Ibiza funnily enough, must be something about the place 😝
The video is not showing mentioned examples of harassment. I wouldn’t mind a party like that during the flight if there would be no harassment
I’ve been on a similar Ryan air flight in past couple of years, going to the canaries.
After I got off, I swore to the missus I’d never fly with them again. Fuck Ryan air.
10 years global no fly list.
That would calm people down.
I doubt the press have sensationalised this at all
To be fair you do need a lot of Dutch courage to handle their landings
Wankers the lot of them.
As a side note alcohol affects you more at altitude I believe.
Flying is too cheap IMHO. They have a huge subsidy in that they don’t pay tax on their fuel, leading to ridiculous situations where it’s cheaper to fly somewhere that’s a train ride away.
Make it more expensive and give tighter rules for this kind of behaviour.
Going to go against the grain here and say I don’t see a massive problem with this (with the exception of abusing other people obviously which is bang out of order).
Flights to holiday destinations with friends are part of the holiday experience and getting a laugh on the flight is part of it. I’ve been in groups in my younger days where we were quite pissed and probably a bit loud (not quite Bluetooth speaker levels right enough) and weren’t cheeky or in any way disrespectful to anyone else on the plane. Most of the other passengers who were a bit older were generally just laughing and talking away with us.
Similarly when I’ve been on a couple’s holiday and there’s been a group of lads doing similar, it hasnt bothered me or my gf in the slightest, it just adds a bit of fun in what is an otherwise extremely boring experience. Life is shit enough for most as it is and seemingly only going to get shitter, I’d rather just let people have their fun. The music in this video might not be to everyone’s taste and them having a little dance in the aisle might not be by the health and safety book, but it’s causing no real harm to anyone.
Being pissed doesn’t equal violence unless you have that nature to begin with.
This is why I will openly admit to being a racist. I’m incredibly anti-racist and a borderline Marxist who believes in open-border in the long term.
But my *one* exception, as a Brit, is other British people in Ibiza. Love to bitch and say incredibly offensive things along with locals, loudly in Spanish and within earshot of Brits (not that the cunts bothered to learn any Spanish so they have no clue what we’re saying), about how we hate them, referencing certain events that have “befallen” Brits in recent years.
If there wasn’t an issue with secondary contact and harming other passengers this would be good grounds for flight staff to carry tasers.
