You’ll notice in the above packaging the base books like a solid layer of thin chocolate.
This was the case in the olden days but over the years it was replaced by a measly sprayed on layer and then pretty much no choc at all.
I have a feeling buying this may give me a ‘Falling Down’ moment…

If you go to spain they have a different brand much bigger romantica.
Did we buy one knowing well there was no freezer in my hotel? Yes.
Did we eat it all in one sitting? Yes
I remember one Christmas my Mam asked me if I wanted Romantica or Christmas pudding for dessert. I said Romantica of course but after dinner she gave me a bowl of Christmas pudding. Said there wasn’t enough left. I was heartbroken.
Decades later I still think of that when someone mentions Romantica.
