  1. They look like Giant house spiders, completely harmless and eat other problematic mosquitos, insects, rodents, neighbours etc.

  2. They breed in the hundreds so if you see one in your house there’s likely hundreds of them but they only come out at night

  3. Aren’t they class? Essentially playing the “if I don’t move he can’t see me” game..little legends.

Pure harmless, just scary to see. They’ll keep.pther pests well away, even annoying neighbours if you keep them near the door 😁

  4. Well at least you’re bags of coal aren’t going to blow away with those spiders weighing them down.

  5. Ah yeah, terrifying fast fucks. Mostly harmless, but they can bite and give you a nasty rash if you’re generally sensitive/allergic to insect bites.

The very large ones are female and they seem a lot more timid, if they’re a bit smaller they’re usually male and sometimes aggressive from my experience, especially in late autumn.

  6. Man try working in retail, I dread finishing up a pallet of coal at work because 99% of the time, one of these bastards is chilling at the bottom with its hellspawn family.

  7. Peppermint oil is meant to be an effective deterrent for most spiders. Goes for about 8 euro in H&B/Tesco. Just throw a few drops near when you found them and they will likely feck off.

Not sure how much truth there is to it, but I spotted a large one in my bedroom about 2 months ago and start using this. Haven’t seen any since.
