TIL that Ikea offers home solar systems:
It seems to be a collaboration with a swiss firm called “Helion” — [https://www.helion.ch](https://www.helion.ch). I’m interested because the Ikea white-labelling connotes a certain degree of ease and quality that seems to be an important problem with home solar installations.

Does anyone have any experience with this (either through Ikea, or with Helion directly)? Or can give their experience having solar panels installed? Thanks!

I have 39 panels on the roof and a battery. Used to work for Helion and am now working for another Solar company.
A Solar System is an investment, don’t go with the “easy” solution. Helion used to be a very good option, but they have been losing quality in the execution. The Material is everywhere the same, Helion doesn’t make the panels or anything other themself.
The most important part is the planning and execution, look for someone trustworthy, someone who gets to your house and checks the options. Helion/Ikea will make you an offer without seeing your house, that’s BS.
