This map shows every territory formerly ruled by Poland throughout the centuries. The more red a state is, the more time it spent incorporated formally into Poland.
Note that it doesn’t show the former vast lands of the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth that were mostly Lithuanian.
Wow, 926 years in Poland. 😉
Lots of nit picking comments, looks good to me
Could you make another illustrating Polish military exploits between 900-1772?
Why no Smolensk here?
Ok so basically, for all the ppl not understanding the lack od territories like lithuania, or Belarus, those are the territories controller by the “Polish Crown” Ukraine is controlled by Polish Crown for a short time, because the lithuanian crown (I think it was a principality?) was controlling it’s lands for a lot of time. I think that there are also some territories not mentioned, like the Control of moscow, for few years, maybe it’s because it was controlled by Polish nobles? Also the front pomerania?(Pomorze przednie to było chyba?).
imo this should include all territories ruled by the commonwealth
