They look nice, but are you going to tell us where you got them?
Look nice but probably to skinny for my liking.
Jesus tittyfuckin christ them are some fine chips
Where did you get these?
They look the job. Nice!
Just after a roast beef dinner with roasties. And ye, I want some.
Some spot for grub can’t bait it
Those are some lovely chips, all right!
They look lovely but I must kindly disagree and say a big chunky chipper chip with a generous dusting of salt and vinegar just about trumps these.
But by God I wouldn’t turn em down !
I can’t be the only one appalled by the use of “I’d” in the title??! (Chips look astounding btw)
I live away from home and I usually crave Leo Burdocks smoked cod and chips as being the very best.
Was just home last month and went to Bray for a day trip and ended getting Fish and Chips in the Fishbar just off the seafront. My good god it was the best fish and the best chips I have every had.Chips were chunky yet fluffy in the middle and a beautiful crisp outside.
Highly recommend
Geoff’s are known for their chips, and yes they are class
They look like they have alot of flavour ngl I’m jealous.
Not chunky.
Think I had the best chips ever last week. Was in Galway at the Christmas Market and there was a chip truck called Prátaí….. Divine, just a bit chunkier than those ones. Don’t know if they have a shop base or not but they were some damn good chips!!
Oh wow
They look like they might be approaching Belgian frites standard.
French fries can keep trying, nothing like Belgian frites, washed down with Belgian beer.
The Holy Grail of chips.
They’re fries.
I see your Geoffs chips and I raise you Chez Bob chips in St Palais sur mer.
Can’t wait to see a photo of them.
Naw man, the best chips ever are cut waaaay thicker than that
Ah Geoffs chips! That and a lovely pint anytime of the year there can’t be bet. Used to live 5 minutes down the road so it was the local for a few years. Place hasn’t changed much since the 90s which I love personally.
When done that thin, I actually don’t mind calling them french fries.
They look great.
Mate the best in the world are salt and pepper chips from Big Bowl Noodle in Liverpool. I shit you not. Worth the journey.
my takes on chips: baked ones are way better than fried ones. The more oil you can smell/taste the worse it gets
also chips made of raw potatoes> made of potato mush
Does anyone in this country still own a deep fat fryer? I have never eaten chips from anywhere that were better than from my own fryer. Every other food I can concede, but not chips.
Skin on beef dripping chips from Aldi. 3€ but worth it. Next best to chipper chips. Real ones not the bs Chinese or apache or McDonald’s or burger king do. Big fat real chips. Soaked in vinegar.
Knew it was Geoff’s just by looking at it, unreal
I don’t see a single seasoning on those.
Jesus they look good
Give me those chips
I want them
I’d consider them fries, chips are a thicker cut than that.
Can’t be the best without some gravy and cheese curds.
