An [interesting thing came out recently](https://www.taxpolicy.org.uk/2022/09/30/putting_things_right/) that solicitors had been giving the impression their libel threats could not be made public as they were marked confidential and without prejudice, when there’s no legal basis for it
Pretty effective, though, at silencing people who couldn’t afford the legal advice to discover they could publish the letter, which could have allowed them to potentially crowd fund their defence, and would have undermined the purposed of the letter in the first place.
