I keep telling people starting a war with russia has consequences 🤷♂️ but they seem to want to just beileve government propaganda. It is worldwide not just norway 🇳🇴 our side can artificially bring down gas prices for some time but that wont last either lol 😆 yay america funding this war to keep it going woooo 🎉 soo awesome with the influx of refugees and the femine and rolling blackouts that will come this winter.
Good luck!
For comperesment, in the Netherlands electricity at home was around 11 cent per kWh (1,16 nsk) last year, and my new contract starting this month it is 1,04 euro per kwh (10,95 nsk), factor 10 up in 1 year. I don’t know if prices in Norway go per kWh and what they are over at your county?
I’m trying to learn Norsk but I’m not good enough for a newspaper article with spec in them I’m afraid.
Easily fixed by:
1) enhanching domestic infrastructure and the N-S grid.
2) removing/stopping the new export cables.
The latter is likely to happen. Just hasn’t been enough outrage yet. They can limit exports legally based on natural security, which already is threatened by key industry shut downs.
And Norway is far more affected by electricity prices than any other place in arguably the world. Due to natural resources and hydro power we don’t use gas infrastructure for heating, cooking. It’s all electricity. Then add lots of raw material industry needing electricity. Then add the biggest EC car park in the world.
Then add the fact that the ONLY reason it’s gone this expensive is exports. It will change soon enough. Guaranteed.
Get these political cnts out of our country
