Surprise: it’s reverse Brexit and reanimate Her Majesty as a cyborg
What an absolutely awful “article”. Title says this one weird trick could fix the economy. He then lists
>Building more houses, getting closer to Europe and allowing more immigration would all make the economy stronger and make us collectively better off.
That’s not a weird trick. That’s a bunch of reasonable ideas.
I mean, I’m not even sure what the point of this “article” is. Has my ad blocker done such a good job that I don’t realise this “article” is all about the click bait ?
And yes, I will continue to put the word article in quotes. That’s how unimpressed I am.
The longer we rely on immigration to solve our problems, the worse our issues will get. We have to wean ourselves off cheap foreign labour (that suppresses local wages) and re-engineer our local skill set to fit our needs, only using foreign labour as a last resort.
Legalise drugs and watch 20 billion ( estimated ) or more a year roll on in!
The title of the article is definitely inflammatory but the content is actually quite correct. There are large charges to get access to the UK address database payable to Royal Mail. Having this as open source publicly available information to use in businesses/apps could utilise would generate some economic growth rather than Royal Mail profiting from it solely.
