I cant imagine the body cameras will help with misogyny and racism unless they intend the firefighters to wear them all the time. This will need far more complex solutions.
That being said Im happy to see cameras on police, firefights, ambulance crews, construction workers, etc as i have had some shitty interactions when public facing (as an engineer) and i’d like that protection from people being twats.
Honestly good. This could be really helpful in a lot of areas, not just this one but also with helping them investigate fires and tragedies.
>. I would advise any single woman not to let them in to check smoke alarms. Why? Because I know what they do. They go through women’s drawers looking for underwear and sex toys. Then they will spend hours bragging about the dildo they found and they will refer to the women as sluts. We hear it all the time and I’m sick of it.
I can’t be the only guy who’s entire friendship group would absolutely shun and rip into anyone talking about going through strangers underwear drawers?
How do enough perverts gather in the same place, where that conversation is met with anything other than the person being ripped to bits verbally and then shunned as being a bit of a weirdo?
I imagine and hope a lot of it is just people being uncomfortable when they say shit like this, nervously laughing along.
But the value of outright calling people that do stuff like this a creep to their face, then telling them to fuck off every time they try to speak after that, can’t be overstated.
it’s shameful to be a man sometimes, and other men shouldn’t let the weirdo’s of our sex get away with stuff like this without being made to feel like the most disgusting thing on the planet.
