  1. I mean, not in a 1939 kind of way I wouldn’t think, but being anti-German should be an easy enough way to get votes in Poland.

  2. Gotta love how Poland still bases their whole identity around being mad at Germany while nearly no one in Germany thinks about Poland that much.

  3. >Poland’s ruling party leader claims Germany seeks to dominate Europe. He warns that Poles could end up under the “German heel.”

In other words, Kaczynski projecting his own dreams onto Germany. PiS set its eyes on Eastern Europe, wanting Poland to become the capo of that grouping and use it to bludgeon Germany and Western Europe into submission just as Orban or Erdogan are trying to do.

It will not work, these are infantile dreams at the worst moment in history. Unfortunately, Kaczynski is not very bright, his brother was the brains of their outfit. He’s an old politician, without a single strategic bone in his political body. It will not end well for Poland to play these games.

  4. Yep, they always do that. On a totally unrelated note, did I ever tell you that Poland is really politically active? Basically, after the election is before the election.
