Matter of the fact is that it’s damn handy to have people directly help out wherever they’re needed OR to have a huge amount of manpower on standby whenever it is needed, especially when it’s not just for war.

Need space for loading stuff? Estates have more than most SUVs.
Have children? Ford S-Max has you covered.

SUV is a stupid Design trend wich causes more fuel consumption, takes up more space and makes stuff stupidly expensive.
Especially if they go on about being fuel efficient. Fuel efficiency will be better on a normal or estate car because less wind resistance overall.
Edit: for all the people that think you can’t have all those things together in one car that isn’t a SUV: Ford S-Max, Volvo V60 Cross Country, Renault Scenic… I could go on.

We overconsume way too much and need to do our part in combatting climate change. Yes, Switzerland is a small country and no, that doesn’t absolve us from responsibility.

People in Switzerland are so smug about how much we work and how well stuff works in comparison to other Countries. Also, most of them believe in a healthy Work-Life Balance and Workers Rights to some extend. And they make it a big moral Issue, saying this is everyone’s right.
But when those Ideals collide in some way that effects them, they will always care about their own Convenience first. And they will refuse to acknowledge that in the future, coming up with all kinds of rationalizations.

Racism or at least xenophobia is very established and accepted in a lot of swiss social groups, not just the SVP

Our healthcare system is failing, we don’t notice because it’s slow but eventually it’s going to collapse. No one wants to do anything and the obvious solutions get shut down by pure ideology.
Our army is a waste of money.
We are so confident on being one of the best places to live that we are doing nothing to ensure it stays that way.
