Swiss Federal Railways has released a new timetable that offers more regional services and direct connections between eastern and western Switzerland, as well as additional connections to popular tourist regions. The new timetable also expands the number of night trains to destinations such as Prague and Hamburg, and adds weekend services for winter sports fans to popular destinations. Maintenance and infrastructure work on the railways is set to increase substantially from 2023.
