Mantas Kvedaravičius (23 June 1976 – 30 March 2022) was a Lithuanian filmmaker, anthropologist, and archaeologist known for war reporting in hostile areas.

In MAR22 he was working on his final film project, ‘Mariupolis 2’ (which was about life in Mariupol under Russian occupation) when he was taken prisonermurdered by Russian forces.

His body was dumped on a public street with a bullet wound to the stomach.

His final film was finished by a close friend of his and has now been nominated for ‘Best Documentary’ in the annual European Film Academy Awards.
